Denim fits…Men
MASTER : 5 pocket straight denim. The basic model of the Kiliwatch denim range. Exists in “Selvedge” and “non-Selvedge”. The Master Selvedge should be worn with a wide turn up.
INITIAL : Narrow 5 pocket denim, which are tighter behind the thigh. A little closer to the leg than the Master model. The Initial Selvedge should be worn with a wide turn up.
JAGGER : Slim 5 pocket denim. The quintessential ‘rock’ jeans. An ultra-cool fit.
SLASH : The “light tapered” model of the Kiliwatch range. Crotch lower at the front. Wider thighs, becoming tighter along the length of the leg and finishing tight around the ankle.
Chino pants men
CHIEF : Kiliwatch’s Chino slim in polished gabardine. Soft to the touch, a used finish and a slim cut, making this chino a must-have for fashion conscious consumers.
FLYTOP : Slightly more comfortable than the Chief, the flytop also stands out for its half belt. It can be worn just like the Chief, turned up above the ankles.
Women’s Denim fits
DIAMOND : A perfect cut. ‘Mid’ waist with a higher crotch (23.5 cm). Model comes in 4 styles: Slim, Straightcut, Bootcut and 7/8. The best-selling female Kiliwatch denim.
SILVER : Low waist/regular denim. Also available with the 4 same styles/finishes as the Diamond.
Kiliwatch Materials
All materials used to make Kiliwatch denims and chinos come from Europe. Kiliwatch only works with ‘Premium’ materials.
Some Kiliwatch jeans are made with denim fabrics known as “SELVEDGE”, of a very high quality. Selvedge denim fabrics are made in widths (width of the rolls of denim fabrics) of 74 to 76 cm, unlike denim fabrics known as “non-selvedge” whose widths are 150 cm. The looms of this specific fabric are shuttle looms, dating back to the 1950s. This specific weaving gives the fabric a quality which is impossible to achieve with a classic loom. Taking into account this reduced width, the material consumption for a pair of trousers made from selvedge fabric is 2.54 m to 2.98 m. While the consumption of fabric with a standard width would be approximately 1.40m/1.50m. This feature means that these denim fabrics and the jeans made with them are simply the most attractive and the most authentic that can be found on the market. The various jeans fading styles of Kiliwatch, whose exceptional fabrics and finishings offer an authentic vintage aspect, are available in all models of jeans made by Kiliwatch.
The Hourglass / The Symbol
Kiliwatch jeans are symbolised by a logo on the rear right pocket of each pair of jeans or ‘rizer’, representing two vertical points, like an hourglass which symbolises the passing of time with a reference to vintage. In fact, the treatment of jeans in the Kiliwatch denim collection recreates wear and tear over time; a look which requires lengthy material treatment, (see denim book delivered with each pair).
